About me
I'm a coach with a background in civil engineering and project management - 18 years working across Tier 2 contractors, government authorities, consultancies, and Engineers Without Borders across Ireland, the UK, Australia, and Cambodia.
I know what it's like to work in fast-paced, high-pressure, often male-dominated environments. After nearly a decade in construction, adrenaline, exhaustion, and overwhelm had become the norm. Then a health crisis forced me to stop.
It didn't feel like an opportunity at the time. But it pushed me to find a rhythm that was actually sustainable. That's what brought me to coaching.
Most people I work with don't need a complete overhaul. They need clarity, a bit of breathing room, and some practical tools. When they get that, they move forward.
I hold an accredited Ontological Coaching and Leadership qualification from the Newfield Institute, recognised by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and am currently working towards Level 3.
WHO CAN BENEFIT
Some people think coaching is only for executives or CEOs. It isn't.
Coaching is useful for the everyday challenges most of us quietly struggle with - managing up, holding your ground, dealing with a difficult colleague, or just getting through the week in one piece. If the pace is relentless and the support is thin, coaching is for you.
How I work
Sessions are warm but focused. There's room for a laugh alongside the harder conversations.
Coaching is led by you and goes at your pace. I'll point out patterns in how you're talking about an issue or how you're carrying yourself which may be getting in your way. By understanding how your language, emotions and even posture influence the issue, new possibilities for dealing with the issue appear.
I face challenges like everyone else and I apply what I've learned through ontological coaching to work through them. The goal is that you leave with those same tools, working through your challenges with more confidence.
